A Night in Bold 2019

  • The Green Room | San Francisco War Memorial & Performing Arts Center (map)
  • Google Calendar ICS

Join us for our 3rd annual "A Night in Bold," a celebration of the most powerful stories in 2019 at the historic Veteran's Building in San Francisco.

THE EVENING.

The gala kicks off with provided beer, wine, artisanal cocktails, and signature bites by the Bay Area’s finest chefs to live piano stylings on a balcony overlooking City Hall. Then, delight in an inventive buffet dinner of world cuisines set to encores of the most impactful stories this past year.

THE THEME.

Purple represents boldness, compassion, and bravery. Whether it's an inspired accent or a bold number, we're looking forward to your semi-formal interpretation of this theme.

Check back in October for more details.

Limited to first 180 tickets. Don't wait to buy yours to this can't-miss event! Inquire about discount tickets for financial need or nonprofits partners.

Take Action for the Holidays

Want to join a fun volunteer team or a passionate board or directors? By using storytelling to bridge divided communities, Listen for a Change has been on the forefront of restoring compassion in this country since 2016. We have big plans for 2020, and we're looking for the talent and passion to pull it off. Whether you love making podcasts/viral videos, have a knack for running events, or want to shape the future of our board, let's talk.

We'll also be appreciating all our current volunteers and board members. Come meet them and hear their experiences.

We're back in the flower shop where it all began. It's a casual drop-in event. Invite your friends who may be interested! Hosted drinks/bites.

Cocktails for a Cause

If last year was the year our country settled into a new reality, this is the year we question our complacency. From the #metoo movement to gun rage, brave voices have been sharing their stories, forcing us to challenge our norms. Yet much remains the same.

How are you a part of the solution? How can you better listen? 2018 is the year to #checkyourchill.

Bring your friends out as we exclusively preview the stories on social justice you'll be hearing from our stage in 2018, from SF to NY, Oakland to LA. Learn more about how to join the Listen for a Change family as a volunteer, board member, or storyteller, and have bites and drinks to help fund the 8 story hours planned for this year.
